Technical SEO 40%, content 25%, performance 25%, accessibility 10%; a failed critical check costs 15 points, a warning 5. Enable PSI to plug in official Google PageSpeed data — otherwise technical + content are scaled up proportionally. For structural hard failures — missing title, missing mobile viewport, non-HTTPS, missing H1, or excluded by noindex — the overall grade is capped: each additional hard failure drops the grade by at least one tier, and an excluded page is pinned to the floor, so a page with hard failures can never reach an “Excellent” rating.

Lighthouse focuses on performance and best practices; bibioo SEO focuses on 48 SEO-specific checks — meta tags, structured data, social tags, heading hierarchy, content quality — and reuses official PageSpeed data for performance. They complement each other.
We deliberately avoid two kinds of inflation. First, "category averaging dilution" — e.g. a non-HTTPS critical only costs 15 points, which is spread thin across 10 technical rules and barely moves the overall score. To fix this we added a structural hard-failure cap: a page missing a title, viewport, HTTPS, or H1, or excluded by noindex, has its overall grade capped (each extra hard failure drops it at least one tier). Second, thin content (under 100 words) and zero internal links are now critical. More importantly, any critical triggers a soft cap — a missing description, zero internal links, or thin content will keep the score from reaching "Excellent" (one critical caps it at 89, two or more at 74), closing the loophole where averaging diluted criticals. We also no longer double-count: a missing Title/Description is not penalized again for length — one root cause, one penalty.
To prevent abuse, each IP gets 20 requests per hour — plenty for personal use. Fetches have a 15-second timeout and a 2MB size cap, protected by four-layer SSRF validation.
